Using the document provided create 4 web pages
Requirements
- examine the content thinking of how you may seperate it into pages
- begin thinking of ways you may navigate through the content
- which words/phrases may link to which pages
- how the user will get to the next page
- using the sitemap template provided create a sitemap for your pages
- which page will be the main page and how secondary pages will link from it
- setup a file hierarchy for site
- create a 'root' site folder (in which your main page (index.html) will be placed
- create a folder for secondary pages
- create a folder for images
- create a new site in Dreamweaver
- define a new site in Dreamweaver designating the 'root' folder
- create 4 HTML pages from "What is Graphic Design" document
- Copy and paste the content into 4 separate pages
- properly markup the content
- Headings should be defined with proper heading tags
- Paragraphs should be defined as paragraphs
- using CSS or properties from the 'properties panel' redefine the visual appearance of the content
- Style the content visually, setting Colors, typefaces, line-height, letter-spacing, ect...
- At minimum the following properties must be set: [ experiment with as many properties as you can! ]
- - body width and margins
- - background color
- - heading typefaces and paragraph typfaces
- - all typeface colors
- - paragraph line-height
- - paragraph margins
- create a background image
- add a background image that doesn't repeat
- add any other images as long as they are relevant to the content
